WHAT IS THE MESOESTETIC SOLUTION?
The mesoestetic® range for visibly treating hyperpigmentation and melasma consists of cosmelan and dermamelan.
cosmelan is a one-time, professional skin brightening treatment developed to help reduce the appearance of age spots, blemishes and skin discolouration in a matter of weeks with minimal side effects. The clinically proven results are truly impressive, achieving up to 95 per cent improvement in the majority of cases.
Treatments with the mesoestetic® cosmelan topical solution are tailored to each individual and the results are long lasting.
The treatment consists of two phases and it is imperative that you follow the directions given by the treating professional to achieve desired results.
Phase 1 – in the clinic
The cosmelan 1 mask is applied in the clinic and left on the skin for a period of time which is determined by the professional according to your skin condition and type. This is usually around 8 hours to 12 hours.
Phase 2 – at home maintenance
The mask is removed at home with mesoestetic® hydracream fusion and followed by an application of melan recovery cream. cosmelan 2 maintenance cream is applied at home according to the recommended protocol of the professional. The objective of this highly effective maintenance cream is to assist in preventing the reappearance of visible spots, while enhancing luminosity. After applying the cosmelan 2 maintenance cream, follow the daily recommended homecare protocol which includes products such as melan recovery and mesoprotech melan 130 pigment control sunscreen.
Peeling of the treated skin begins in approximately 48-72 hours and lasts about three days; melan recovery is provided for multiple applications during the day and evening. Follow-up is in 7-10 days at which point a marked reduction in major visible discolouration should be noticeable. The cosmelan home maintenance product program must be adhered to for the next six months for effective results.
dermamelan® is a more targeted, but still accessible, effective and minimally invasive solution provided by medical professionals only. The treatment, one of the world’s best skin brightening solutions, combines in-clinic treatments and home care products to target the mechanisms responsible for skin pigmentation, thereby helping to reduce the appearance of unsightly blemishes, stubborn spots and visible skin discolouration.
It has a dual corrective and controlling action, achieving short and long-term results by helping to keep hyperpigmentation under control, while helping to visibly even out skin tone, restoring radiance and luminosity. The dermamelan® protocol may last from 6 to 9 months.
